Our History

About the Market

The Pittsford Village Farmers Market is located in the heart of Pittsford at the Paul M. Spiegel Pittsford Community Center. Founded by the Friends of Pittsford Village committee in 2014, the market is celebrating its' 7-year anniversary this year!

The market is currently managed by Impact Earth,  a Rochester based zero waste solutions company dedicated to creating healthy and sustainable cradle-to-cradle communities. We are a single-use plastic free market. Please bring a reusable shopping bag or purchase one at the market.

The market continues to grow and improve each year thanks to our loyal and dedicated customers who shop with us every week. Of course, none of this would be possible without the countless hours of hard work from dedicated community members, volunteers, and vendors.

A special thank you to The Town of Pittsford and the Recreation Department for providing the market space and logistical support each week. An extra shout out goes to Eric Manzler who books all the music each week. Thank you Eric for helping to create the wonderful atmosphere we enjoy every Saturday morning!

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring people together in to celebrate and support sustainable agricultural, artisans, crafters, vendors, and local non-profits.

We do this by utilizing a community gathering place for friends, families, and neighbors to socialize, engage in art and entertainment activities, shop and to meet the folks who make a living within the Agricultural industry and bring you their products and services every week.

Together, we are honoring our agricultural roots.
